Where will I meet the tour?

Shortly before your tour, you’ll receive an email with your meeting place and best car, bike, and transit directions to get there. Your Docent Team will be waiting for you there.

What if I’m late?

Tours depart promptly at their scheduled times. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the tour. If you are running late, you can contact to catch up with the group. A member of the Tours Support Team will be able to connect you to your docents once the tour starts.

Will I need a physical ticket?

No! We try to use as little paper as possible, so your email confirmation is your ticket. Your docent will check you in electronically.

I can’t go. Can someone else take my place?

What happens if it rains?

The show must go on! Our tours go out rain or shine, so make sure you’re dressed appropriately for conditions; we recommend comfortable walking shoes and sun protection. All reserved guests will be contacted by email if the forecast calls for dangerous weather.

Can I purchase a ticket at the tour?

Yes, although there is no guarantee that space will be available. We encourage you to visit our website for additional tour offerings that day.

I can’t go. How do I get a refund?

Refunds will be provided up to 72 hours before the tour. Please call our office at 734.249.8226.

Do you support attendees with special needs?

Our docent team will make every reasonable accommodation for your comfort and participation! The majority of this outdoor tour will take place in public spaces. Please contact us before booking to ensure if you would like more information about the route’s accessibility.

Is my service animal allowed?

Registered service and support animals are welcome on tours! Please be prepared to show your animal’s documentation.

Will restroom stops be available?

Restroom break accommodations have been built into the beginning and end of the tour. The tour takes place in a commercial district during regular hours of operation in the event you need to make a stop mid-tour; one of your docents will help reconnect you with the group.
