Ford's announcement last June of its purchase of the long-abandoned Michigan Central Train Station in Detroit was one of the most significant developments in the recent history of the City. Ford's investment of approximately $740 million in purchase and renovation costs will transform the Station from being the City's most dominant symbol of neglect into a symbol of its resurgent future.
Ford has selected the Christman/Brinker Corktown Transformation Joint Venture team to act as construction manager for the project. Richard Bardelli from Ford Land Development and Ron Staley from the joint venture team will provide us with an overview of this history making renovation project.
